At the end of our session, we'll be hosting a panel with expert global and public health professionals to discuss current practices and challenges. 

Panelists

Dr. Robert Rosenheck

A Professor of Psychiatry and Public Health at Yale, Dr. Rosenheck is a globally recognized mental health services researcher specializing in cost-effectiveness studies and healthcare system evaluations. He has over 900 publications, with research spanning mental health, homelessness, and serious mental illness treatment. He also spent 22 years directing the VA's Northeast Program Evaluation Center.

Dr. Peter Waiswa

Dr. Waiswa is a Ugandan medical doctor and Associate Professor at Makerere University’s School of Public Health. He is the founder of maternal and newborn research networks in Africa and serves on the WHO Advisory Board for maternal and child health, actively contributing to policy and advocacy at local and global levels.

Dr. Matthew Basilico

Dr. Basilico is a physician-economist at Harvard, focusing on the neurobiological roots of economic and health inequality. He teaches economics and global health, with clinical interests in mood disorders and chronic homelessness. He co-edited "Reimagining Global Health" and has consulted for the World Bank.
